The recognizable part of the Hit the Road Dude meme is the confrontation: a driver at a white pickup window, a fishing spot and an incredulous pause when the visitor mentions state property. Pet remixes change the driver while keeping those visual cues. You may also see the scene called the State Property meme or This Is Private Property trend.
Our classic pickup template makes a 15-second, 16:9 video from one photo. The extended template makes a 30-second, 9:16 version with the notepad ending. It uses the existing studio workflow: upload, review the cost, generate, then download. The reference preview is temporary third-party material, not a result generated by this application.
Choose a driver who reads clearly
Use a photo of yourself, a friend who agreed to appear, or your own pet. Keep one subject in the photo. A head-and-shoulders portrait gives the model more useful identity detail than a distant full-body shot. Even light and a face looking toward the camera help avoid ambiguity.
For a cat or dog, keep both eyes, the ears and the full muzzle visible. Avoid motion blur, hands covering the face, sunglasses and heavy filters. If the first photo is dark or very small, choosing a better original is more useful than repeatedly rendering it. See our photo tips for the general checklist.
Keep the scene recognizable
The white pickup, the pond-side setting and the driver's reaction are the anchors of the joke. A random driving video may contain a cat and a truck without recreating this meme. The template prompt follows the reference scene and replaces the driver with your photo subject; the fishing visitor stays off camera.
The short format also needs a readable pause. Let the driver react to the state-property misunderstanding before the final dismissive gesture. Facial likeness, mouth movement and gestures can vary between AI renders, so inspect the preview before sharing.
Check the model and cost
Open the studio with the pickup template selected. It accepts one image, including supported pet photos. Choose an available model and quality, then read the displayed credit cost before generating. Choose the 15-second widescreen classic or the 30-second portrait extended version. The extended version uses twice the credits at the same quality.
Generation uses credits. The pricing page explains the current packs, and the studio shows the exact cost for your selection. A render that ends in failure returns its credits through the existing refund flow. Wait for the job status instead of repeatedly submitting the same image.
Preview and download with the audio
The rendering pipeline creates silent video. The browser adds the template soundtrack when preparing the download. Check the downloaded file, including the timing of the surprised pause and the final line, rather than judging the result only from the silent player.
Label your shared clip as an AI remix. Do not imply it is original footage or that the person in the source clip endorses it. This tool does not verify the identity of the original driver or provide his portrait. Your own photo or pet keeps the joke personal.
